April founded Omnilogy Inc., a multi-faceted approach to empowering people by creating collective environments of shared aspirations through the arts. Becoming an architect was one of her biggest influences that made her visualize the various potential of the arts and the built environment to alleviate the human condition, which fueled her passion to sustain humanity. Her inspiration stems from her affiliations with International
House & Junior Chamber International; organizations that promote
the brotherhood of men.In her aim to bridge the gap across and between
cultures through the One Humanity advocacy “where everyone, everywhere
matters”, she engaged world-class musicians from across the globe to
inspire communities through volunteerism and organized the participation
of more than 200 children, over 40 volunteers, in a series of art and
music workshops, that enable them to find constructive means of self
expression. Prior to launching
Omnilogy Inc., April served as the business development director and
operations executive of Firestop Phils. Corporation since 2001. She
developed business and marketing strategies that increased the company’s
revenue by more than 40% and subsequently increased the company’s
client base throughout the Visayas and Mindanao regions. She received
her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from University of San
Carlos and attended further studies in International Affairs in New York
City. She recently completed her Executive Program in Social
Entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, one of the
forty-nine fellows, traveling from more than fifteen countries -
including Australia, Nigeria, Poland, the U.S., India, Canada, Colombia,
Malaysia, El Salvador, Pakistan, Spain, China, the Philippines, the
U.K., and Switzerland selected to participate through a fellowship grant
awarded by the Center for Social Innovation. She
is also an International Associate member of the American Institute of
Architects and has dealt with several key players in the design and
construction industry within the US and the Philippines. She also worked
with the United Nations Capital Development Fund where she learned
about various local development programs and micro financing. She love
to read and travel, swim, scuba dive, and many adventure sports to
include skydiving and bungee jumping when she gets the chance.” |
